The Multiply Programme helps adults across the Newry, Mourne and Down District Council area improve their maths skills and confidence.

By taking part, residents can build their numeracy skills, increase their job opportunities, and boost their earning potential. Some participants may also work towards a maths qualification.
This project is funded by the UK Government through the UK Shared Prosperity Fund.

The Department for the Economy leads the Multiply programme in Northern Ireland. It supports the region’s goal of creating a balanced economy with good jobs, higher productivity, and a focus on decarbonisation.
Numeracy is an essential life skill. Through the £5.9 million Multiply programme, over 3,000 adults will improve their maths confidence and ability. This will help them access further training and employment.
Multiply is delivered by:

- community and voluntary organisations
