Newry, Mourne and Down District Council operates a number of grants and financial assistance programmes to contribute towards community projects.
New Financial Assistance Grant Manager is now open for registrations.

Financial Assistance 2026-2027 – Call 2
Newry, Mourne and Down District Council invites applications for Financial Assistance towards the thematic areas outlined below:
- Sports Facility Capital
- Community Capital for Community Facilities
- Community Capital Minor Items
- Defibrillators for Sports Clubs
Opening date: Monday 27 April 2026 at 12noon
Closing date: Monday 22 June 2026 at 12noon
