Public Health Complaints
The Council will investigate complaints received on the following areas:
- Accumulation of dog foul
- Accumulation of household waste
- Defective privately rented dwellings
- Drainage complaints
- Offensive odours
- Ruinous and dilapidated premises
- Smoke, dust, and fumes.
In most instances complaints can be resolved through informal advice.
Where people responsible for the nuisance are reluctant or unwilling to take steps to resolve the problem, a legal notice can be served.
