The Type of Personal Information the Public Consultation will Collect
Newry Mourne and Down District Council has commissioned Otium Leisure Consultancy to consult with people in the district about its proposals for the regeneration of Newry City Centre.
The Public Consultation Survey will take approximately 15 minutes to complete and will ask your views about the different projects which make up the regeneration proposals.
By participating in the Survey you are confirming you have read the privacy information set out below and consent to sharing the information provided with the Council.
The Council currently collects and processes the following information:
- Age
- Community background
- Disability
- Ethnicity
- Postcode
How Your Personal Information is obtained and Why it is Collected
Most of the personal information processed is provided directly by you for public consultation purposes on the Council’s regeneration proposals for Newry City Centre.
Personal Information is also indirectly received as a result of respondents opting to respond in open format via email or letter.
Information that you have provided will be used to consider respondents views on proposals for the regeneration of Newry City Centre.
Personal information will be collected by Otium Leisure Consultancy on behalf of Newry, Mourne and Down District Council.

How Your Personal Information Is Stored
Otium Leisure Consultancy is using Survey Monkey software whose servers are hosted in the United States or Canada. A copy of their privacy policy is available here.
Any further processing by Otium Leisure of your information is securely stored on servers based in the UK.
Your responses to the consultation will be kept and then this information is disposed off in line with Otium Leisure Consultancy's Retention and Disposal Schedule.
