Book of Condolence for Captain Sir Tom Moore

The Chairperson of Newry, Mourne and Down District Council, Cllr Laura Devlin has opened an Online Book of Condolence for residents to extend their sympathies to the family of Captain Sir Tom Moore.

At the height of the COVID-19 pandemic in 2020, Captain Sir Tom Moore became the world’s most famous centenarian after he completed 100 laps of his garden to raise an astounding £33m for NHS Charities Together.

Due to the ongoing COVID-19 restrictions, the Book of Condolence will be available online until Thursday 18 February 2021. All messages in the online book will be recorded by Newry, Mourne and Down District Council.

By signing the Book of Condolence below you are expressing your sympathy to the family of Captain Sir Tom Moore.
