What Happens When I Make A Request?
When we receive your request for information, we will first check whether the information is already routinely published by the Council. If it is, we will send it to you or advise you where you can access it.
If the information you request is not routinely made available, then we will find out if we hold that information. If we do, we will send it to you within 20 working days of receiving your request, giving no exemptions or exceptions apply.
If we feel that we need more information from you to be able to deal with your request, we will contact you for further details. This may lengthen the response time.
We believe that, where possible, information should be available to you at no cost. If a charge is applicable, we will contact you to make sure that you are willing to pay the fee.
There is no charge to make a request.
