Artisan Markets

The Council hosts Artisan Markets across the district, which offer local craft and food producers the opportunity to showcase and sell their products locally. 

The Council encourages everyone to ‘Make it Local’ - you can find a market near you at one of the following locations.  Each market is family friendly with music to entertain through the day. 

Newcastle: Piazza, Newcastle Centre  -  first Saturday of each month

Downpatrick: Market Street Car Park – third Saturday of each month

Warrenpoint: Municipal Park – fourth Saturday of each month

Newry: John Mitchel Place – second Sunday of each month

All markets operate from 11am to 3pm.
