The Grove

The Council has secured PEACEPLUS funding to support the future development of the Grove, an important green space in Downpatrick, and make it a welcoming space for everyone.

This funding will help explore new ways the area can be used to bring people together and support community activities. This is your chance to have a say in how the Grove develops. We want to hear your ideas on how the space can better meet local needs, encourage people from different backgrounds to connect and support inclusive events and activities. 

We are inviting residents, community groups, schools and colleges to help shape a future vision for the Grove that reflects what matters to local people and makes the space more welcoming and well used by all.
