Make It Local
Make it Local is an initiative that is designed to encourage people within the district to shop locally and support local businesses.
This promotional initiative, which has been running for several years now, is designed to promote and bolster homegrown companies across Newry, Mourne and Down, by encouraging people to shop and spend locally.
The Council completed an Autumn Make it Local campaign working with 15 businesses. Businesses featured in social and print media campaigns, billboards, and magazines. Council’s Christmas campaign is now live. Council worked with 6 businesses for the Christmas campaign and 11 businesses for the Spring campaign.
