Be Active Summer Programme - July and August 2026
Newry, Mourne and Down District Council is delighted to welcome back the Be Active Summer Programme for 2026, offering a wide range of
fun, inclusive and engaging activities for children and young people across the district this summer!
Taking place throughout July and August, the programme provides plenty of opportunities for children and teens of all ages and abilities to stay active, make new friends and enjoy their summer holidays in a safe and supportive environment.
From multi-sports camps and Teen Activity Week to swimming sessions, soft play and a variety of indoor and outdoor activities, there is something for everyone to enjoy across our Leisure Centres and community venues. Families can also make use of our courts and halls for activities including badminton, basketball, racquet sports, 5-a-side football and more.
