Kilkeel Leisure Centre – Temporary Closure for Refurbishment

From Monday 8 September 2025, Kilkeel Leisure Centre will close for major refurbishment work. The upgrade will modernise key areas of the Centre, creating a more welcoming and up-to-date space for everyone to enjoy.

Important Information for Centre Users 

Memberships

All Direct Debit and Paid in Full memberships at Kilkeel Leisure Centre will be frozen during the closure. No payments will be taken while the Centre is closed.

If you would like to use other Council leisure centres during this time, please email Kilkeel.Reception@nmandd.org. A member of staff will help change your membership so you can continue using other facilities.

You do not need to take any further action regarding your membership payments

Football pitch bookings in the Mournes area can be made through the Newcastle Centre. See contact details below.
