Newry, Mourne and Down District Council is committed to providing Public Convenience facilities, which are clean, stocked with appropriate materials and open at reasonable hours throughout the year.
COVID-19 Update April 2021
8 of the Council’s public toilets are currently closed due to seasonal arrangements, refurbishment, or COVID-19 related maintenance.
Public Toilets currently closed are:

- New Line, Saintfield
- Rostrevor Square
- Struell Cemetery, Downpatrick
- Windmill Street, Ballynahinch
Public Toilets that remain open (with the exception of Christmas Day) are:

Opening Hours
Due to COVID-19 restrictions the toilets listed above are currently open from 9am to 5pm daily. Opening hours are currently being reviewed and further advice will be provided in due course.
Facilities for People with Disabilities
All of the Council's public conveniences have less-abled facilities and operate within the RADAR key system.

Christmas Closure
All facilities are closed on Christmas Day.
