Statutory Fees

There are two occasions when you pay Building Control fees:

1. When you send an application to us

2. When we start inspections (this is for Full Plans Applications only).

The inspection fee is paid in one lump sum. We will send you an invoice after your first inspection has been carried out.

For your convenience fees can be paid by cash, cheque, postal order and debit or credit card.

Fee Calculator

Fees are set by the Department of Finance for Northern Ireland. Most home building or renovation work has fixed fees listed in the Fee Calculator. Some types of work are based on the estimated cost of the project.
