A New Tourism Journey for Our District

Newry, Mourne and Down District Council is progressing plans for a major tourism investment project as part of the Belfast Region City Deal. The emerging project aims to explore a connected tourism journey from Carlingford Lough to Strangford Lough, linking key destinations including Kilbroney Forest Park, Slieve Gullion Forest Park and Delamont Country Park.

At this early stage, the Council is engaging with tourism businesses and stakeholders to help shape the future direction of the project.

Business Stakeholder Survey
