About Our Procurement

Newry, Mourne and Down District Council procures a wide range of goods, services, and works each year. Many of these are advertised as tenders through the MultiQuote procurement portal.

New opportunities are added regularly, so suppliers are encouraged to check the portal often to identify contracts they may wish to bid for.

New Procurement Legislation – Procurement Act 2023

The Procurement Act 2023 came into effect on 24 February 2025. In Northern Ireland, the Act applies to above-threshold procurements.
