We are inviting views on our Draft Performance Improvement Objectives for 2026-2027.
The Local Government Act (NI) sets out a General Duty of Improvement, which means that we as a Council are required to make arrangements to secure continuous improvement in the exercise of our functions.
We must also set targets to improve the services we provide and put plans in place to achieve them. The steps we take to keep improving are checked each year by the Northern Ireland Audit Office through an independent audit and assessment.
