Mountain Biking Trails

There are currently 27.5km of Green, Blue and Red trails (including two Black options).  There is no charge for individuals to use the trails.  Groups wishing to organise events or coaching and guiding on the designated trails will have to apply for approval to do so, for which a fee will apply (see section on ‘How to apply to hold an event in Castlewellan Forest Park’). Usual vehicle access charges will apply for the Forest Park.
