It is an offence to provide misleading or false information with regards to the fee categories, floor areas or estimated costs of work when submitting this information to Building Control Service. When the works do not fit within the defined categories of fees, the estimated costs category should be completed to include this work.
Any estimate provided should include all the works on site. If you have doubts with regard to how to calculate the estimated costs, then we suggest consulting with a competent person who can advise further. Failure to do so in this respect may result in your Building Control application being considered invalid with a query being raised for additional fee information to be submitted.
