Weekly Bin Collections and Calendar

We aim to collect all bins on their scheduled collection day. However, on occasion bins may be missed for various reasons. When a delay occurs, we will return to collect your bin on the next available day.

To help us keep collections running smoothly, please:

• Place your bin out no later than 6am on the morning of collection, or put it out the night before.
• Do not leave extra bins or additional bags beside your bin, as these cannot be collected.
• Be mindful of parking on collection days to ensure our crews can access your street. Please spread the word to neighbours too.
• Use the correct bin for your waste (Black, Brown, Blue) to maximise household recycling.
• Do not place food or recyclable waste in your black bin. Bins containing incorrect materials may not be collected.

Tips for Using Your Bins

Blue Bin
• Flatten cardboard boxes
• Flatten containers and remove lids

Black Bin
• Do not place garden waste in this bin

Brown Bin
• Use for all food waste
• Compost your garden waste where possible

Hygiene and Safety

• Wash your hands when handling bins and wipe bin handles before and after use—our staff appreciate your support.
• Maintain a minimum two-metre distance from collection staff at all times.
• Do not place used tissues, gloves or disposable cleaning cloths into recycling bins. These must be bagged and placed in your black bin.

To Access Your Weekly Bin Collection Schedule:

1. Under 'SELECT' move the arrow to the correct FIRST 4 DIGITS of your postcode and click your mouse to select it e.g BT24

2. Move across to the second box and enter the LAST 3 digits of your postcode e.g. 8ZH

3. Finally click on 'SEARCH' to view your 'Weekly Bin Collection Schedule'
