Newry, Mourne and Down District Council is delighted to announce the reopening of a £3 Million development grant scheme, aimed at stimulating private sector investment in quality Grade A office development.
The Opportunity
The demand for sustainable, high quality and technologically advanced workspaces is growing and the office development scheme will provide the capital support needed to turn ambitious blueprints into landmark realities.
The scheme will support developments that deliver Grade A quality office space as a standalone development, or multi-use developments that integrate quality office space with residential, retail or leisure components
This is an opportunity to deliver for Newry City workplaces that contribute to a vibrant city centre, enhance the environment, create employment opportunities, contribute to the local economy and increase city centre footfall.

The development grant Scheme will support:
- Pure Office Developments - Dedicated, state-of-the-art corporate hubs.
- Multi-Use Spaces - Innovative mixed-use developments that integrate quality office space with residential, retail, or leisure components.
- New build developments or revitalization of derelict properties/sites - The repurposing of derelict properties
