Hosted by Newry, Mourne and Down District Council, this frightfully good evening will transform the historic market into a Halloween haven, packed with entertainment, activities and seasonal treats for all ages.
Newry, Mourne and Down District Council Chairperson, Councillor Philip Campbell said, “The Halloween Twilight Market at Newry Variety Market is always a highlight in our events calendar. It brings people of all ages together to enjoy food, music, crafts and plenty of spooky fun. I encourage families and friends to come along, dress up, and join us for what promises to be another memorable evening.”
From spooky carnival games and Halloween arts, crafts and face painters to a fancy-dress disco with spot prizes kindly supported by BID Newry, there will be plenty to keep the kids entertained.
Music lovers are in for a treat too, with a fantastic line-up of live performances throughout the evening. Acts include The Unholy Gospel Band, the ever-popular, Those Guys and a special set of spooky tunes from the Downshire Brass Band.
To make sure no one goes hungry, the Market will feature a Food Village and licensed bar, while shoppers can browse a wide selection of local produce and crafts at the Artisan Market. Adding to the atmosphere will be walkabout characters and a frightful makeover of the Market itself, setting the perfect spooky scene.
With something for everyone – from family-friendly activities to live music and artisan flavours – the Newry Halloween Twilight Market is the perfect way to celebrate the season. Don’t miss out on this spooktacular night!
