Silver Screening at Omniplex Downpatrick

Over 200 local people recently enjoyed a free Silver Screening of Downton Abbey at Omniplex Downpatrick cinema. 

Organised by Downpatrick, Mournes, Rowallane and Slieve Croob District Electoral Areas in partnership with County Down Rural Community Network, the event was held to help reduce rural and social isolation and to help rural residents make connections. Newry, Mourne and Down District Council Chairperson, Cllr Philip Campbell was joined at the event on Thursday 4 December by members of Just Older Youth (JOY) from the RIOT community group in Dundrum.
