Newry, Mourne and Down District Council is planning to transform Warrenpoint Muncipal Park into two special enchanted winter evenings. Taking place on Friday 3 and Saturday 4 December, these free events will run at the park from 4.30pm to 8.30pm, where there will also be an opportunity to donate to the Caring Coins initiative.
Visitors can soak up the festive spirit with a hot chocolate in hand as they stroll through the park, taking in the twinkling Christmas lights, illuminated trees and magical fire displays, while enjoying a range of festive tunes. There will also be arts and crafts activities for the children.
Newry, Mourne and Down District Council Chairperson Councillor Cathy Mason said, “We are delighted to welcome everyone to this free festive event in Warrenpoint Municipal Park.
